Our aim

This website has been designed and built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Features include:

  • Semantic page structure with clear headings and landmarks, and a "skip to main content" link.
  • Full keyboard navigation with clearly visible focus indicators.
  • Text and interface colours chosen to meet AA contrast requirements.
  • Text that can be resized up to 200% without loss of content, and layouts that adapt to small screens without horizontal scrolling.
  • Animations that are subtle and switched off if you have enabled "reduce motion" in your device settings.
  • Accessible form labels, error messages and status announcements.
  • A searchable topic directory that announces the number of results to screen readers.

Known limitations

Decorative images do not have text alternatives because they don't convey information. If you find any part of the site difficult to use, please let us know.

Visiting the clinic

If you have access requirements for visiting the clinic, please mention them when you get in touch so that arrangements can be discussed in advance.
